SMALLVILLE

Smallville has been created in 2001 by two famous american scenarists : Alfred Gough and Miles Milar.

It depicts the story of the young Clark Kent, an alien from the lost planet Krypton and arrived on the earth when he was a youg child.

You will have recognized him, he is Superman before he decides to wear the famous black and red suit and save the world!

We can discover through this TV show how clark was adopted by Jonathan and Martha, how he grew up in the small town of Smallville and studied in high-school.

We also discover some unknown characters like Chloe (Clark’s bestfriend) or Lana, who was Clark’s first love (before Lois of course).

Lex Luthor is also present all along the seasons, and we learn that he was quite nice man before getting more and more wicked (at first he was one of Clark’s best fan).

There are for the moment seven season. Clark is now a young man who is settled in Metropolis and who starts getting interested in journalism, whereas he couldn’t stand it before! Lex is getting the fiture corrupted man we all know, and some unimportant characters for Clark’s future begin to disappear…

Desperate Housewives

Desperate Housewives is a soap, created by Marc Cherry, with a truly contemporary take on the “happily ever after”. It is a darkly comedy which takes place in a little area, Wisteria Lane, where the secret lives of housewives aren’t always what they seem.

The series began with Mary Alice Young (Brenda Strong) leaving her perfect house, in the loveliest of suburbs, and ending it all. Now she takes us into the lives of her family, friends and neighbors.

Her circle of girlfriends includes :

- Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher), who has finally married the love of her life but is now faced with the challenges of a blended family ;

- Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman), who struggles with work, health and family issues;

- Bree Van De Kamp (Marcia Cross) — Martha Stewart on steroids — who tries to keep her image of perfection even as everything crumbles around her;

- Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria), the newly married ex-model who seems to have everything she has ever wanted – a rich, powerful husband, a big house — everything that is, but a husband she truly loves.

From her unique vantage point, Mary Alice sees more now than she ever did alive, and she’s planning to share all the delicious secrets that hide behind every neighbor’s closed door in this seemingly perfect American suburb.

Since its premiere on ABC on October 3, 2004, the show has been well received by the critics as well as the audience. The show is a multiple Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award winner, and in April 2007 it was reported to be the most popular show in its demographic worldwide, with an audience of approximately 115 to 119 million viewers.

Prison Break

Prison Break is an american TV show created by Paul Scheuring and directed by Brett Rattner, a famous american director.

The story is about Michael Scofield, a young structural engineer who does everything to enter a high-level security prison in Chicago.

His goal : make his brother get out of this prison, after having been accused of the murder of Vice-President’s brother.

Thus, Michael decides to prepare an extremely elabored plan to escape, and to disappear with his brother without any trace.To remember every single detail, he creates a tatoo that covers all his body and that hides all the informations he needs to fulfill his plan : phone numbers, adress, places etc.
But inside the prison, Michael realizes that his “perfect plan” is compromized by some people and unexpected events.

At the end of season one, he succeeds in escaping with his brother but also with other extremely dangerous prisoners.

A huge manhunt begins, and Michael has to improvize and use his great intelligence to leave the police and the FBI.

At the end of season 2, Michael and Lincoln escape to Panama, the country Michael had prepared to settle after the escape.

But Michael is arrested by the police, and is incarcerated in the famous “SONA” prison, one of the most dangerous prison in the world, where prisoners are totally free inside.

He has to make escape a certain “Whistler”, a weird man who has strange links with the Company, an extremely powerful organisation which is reponsible for Lincoln’s charge.

At the end of the season, Michael has succeded in escaping, and decides to pursuit the members of the Company, responsible for Sara tancredi’s death (the whoman he had fallen in love with in the Fox River Prison).
